Rapava Ruskin struggled with injury at Gloucester, also thought he was just going to waltz into the England team which was never going to realistically happen even when Marler retired for 5 minutes.

That’s a good signing for Irish to be fair.happywomble wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 4:17 pm Aye but Meakes only on a short term deal until January

Both 'The Ruck' (link) and 'The Rugby Paper' speculate on the future long term whereabouts of Peter O’Mahony :

If Tuafua is moving on the O'Mahony could be a good target for Tigers. Excellent leader as well.
He's over 30 and a very different player to Taufua but with Brink, Wiese and Liebenberg all being young and good carriers it could work.

Worcester sign Thomas - Loosehead prop from Harlequins and Merrick - Lock from Clermont. Both good signings, putting together a pretty tidy pack.

I'd want O'Mahony in pretty much any team. Absolute warrior. Lewis Moody with a bit more common sense and a more resilient body...

With regard to Peter O’Mahony , Neil Fissler (Rugby Paper , 1/11/20) infers that there are already contract offers tabled from both clubs in both France and Japan.Unsurprisingly there would appear no shortage of prospective suitors.

And their first match of the 2020/21 season is against... Seems like most Tigers games these days feature a reunion with an ex-Tiger!
Re: Transfers and Rumours Non-Tigers 2019-20
The nature of the modern game is players moving more. Tigers have had a high turnover largely due to poor recruitment. We have players on our staff who have played for 9 other Premiership clubs.
Clare (Saints)
Genge (Bristol)
Bower (Worcester)
Ford (Bath)
Scott (Gloucester)
Wallace and Aspland-Robinson (Quins)
Green (Newcastle)
Mamukashvili (Sale)
Nadolo (Exeter)
Just Wasps (Umaga, Odogwu and Rob Hardwick now in their academy) and London Irish (Mafi and Hepetema).

Another big name signing by Exeter, with the biggest squad in the league and quite a few star signings one wonders how they manage to stay under the reduced salary cap?
