Agree our options are tidy.
All about balance anyway, no point having a devastating back three of you can’t get the ball to them.
Nadolo, Veianu plus another decent recruit and I’d be happy. Add in the players we have with potential that are backing them up, looks good.
Despite the signing of Charles Piutau in 2018, Bristol recruitment has been focused on strengthening as well as modernising the pack (Thacker, Afoa, Atwood, Thomas, Hughes & George Smith before now Sinckler). Whilst on the forefront the Bears seem to be splashing the cash, their recruitment has been incredibly intelligent compared to the schemes of Newcastle in 1997 and London Welsh in 2014.

Ridiculous response, have you heard of this thing called the cap?
I mean how many other clubs can afford to pay a marquee player 1 million?
Probably over £1.5 M for their two marquee players
And their billionaire owner has come out against removing Marquee players. There was a rumour last year that some of their squad were on very low wages. As has been said we will see but it must be a difficult balancing job and how much of an upgrade is Sinclair over Afoa given that he will be missing for England

Which I disagree with.

I think we'd be better off getting rid of the marquee system but I do see the Bristol owners point. They've made financial commitments to players based on the rules as they are. To remove them now at what is effectively the 11th hour is not the right time. His club has clearly spent up to the cap including marquees for next season. Why would be want them removing it would leave his club in an impossible situation.
