Adds more light to Peter Tom’s decision to spend more time in Guernsey.

I was expecting an announcement - but not that one!
For those who have been demanding a shake-up at the top - you might be about to get it!

Keener on the partial sale idea. I'd far rather see a decent shareholder coming in than an outright sale.

"Although an outright sale to private equity or a family office is regarded as the likeliest outcome, the club also will consider a partial sale."

As a shareholder, will I get a vote???? Don't think so as the idea didn't come to the minions but would be interested in how much our stadium and surrounding land is actually worth on the open market. I await the outcome with interest. Won't make any difference to the playing budget but may fund further ground/car park/hotel developments otherwise why do it??
Hehehehehehehehe

I guess they’ve had enough
I would be fascinated to know their reasons and how much they have made on their shares.
Whether podcast or paper we need some investigative journalism...
I always imagined it would be one of the other club owners who would move on first.
I too don’t know how I feel but am certain the future of the club and it’s direction is clearly going to change again.
Anyone know if the owners down the road want another piece of the Leicester Monopoly Set; as they’ve shown real commitment to the club, the badge, the city

Mixed emotions. A rich owner scares me,if he gets bored and takes his ball home what then? But then I look at Sarries and the innovative stuff they put together and think WE should be doing this,we are GP biggest club and Europe's second most supported club behind Bordeaux for the second year in a row. Seems to me we are a professional club still being run in the amateur ways. The timing could be perfect too, like I said theres a big shift coming from international rugby towards club rugby and I believe CVC money is just the start. Buckle up your seatbelt Dorothy because Kansas is going bye bye.

Current funding model can't compete as we have seen for 5 or more years. Governing body out-lawyered by wealthy owners so salary cap is a joke. Feels like the end of an era coming on.
I'm not cynical just experienced

I know it is comparing apples to pears, but how perverse that Harry Maguire potentially 'worth' £80M, yet our entire club only £60M!

I have stated this would happen sooner or later, but surprised that it has happened so soon.
We really do need this to happen imo, in order to be competitive, and have more direction than we currently have.
I am however amazed that the selling price is so low. Will the building of the new hotel be affected?

Unless you know how much the likes of Bath, Bristol, Sarries, Racing etc etc sold for not sure how you can say it’s low.
