Great news for us to potentially have all three of our international hookers available, unless of course there are injury call ups.

The backs to be fair look in good shape too! First time in ages we’ve got strength in depth. McPhillips is a real talent, one of the stand out players in the U20 tournament when he played and if guided could be a real asset 10. A signing which seems to have gone under the radar.
Simmons, McPhillips
Reid, Taute
Holmes, Worth, Viljoen
White, Hardwick, Thomas, Eastmond, Thompstone and Olowofela all as backup too.
Sad news for Denton, had my fingers crossed but seems what we may have suspected is sadly true. How we bring in a quality injury dispensation.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 1
Given the injuries to Genge and the poor form of Kitchener (a key figure albeit not the only one out of sorts last year), I'd argue that pack is stronger than pretty much anything we fielded last season.
I'm really hoping that increased physicality in the rest of the pack means we see the best of Polota-Nau. He's dominated international games with his physicality in the tackle. Last season he looked exhausted though.
Hopefully the improved quality in the starting pack and depth means that several players perform closer to their top form this season.

Terrible shame about D,D. His presence will be missed, but yes, we still have what should be a pretty awesome pack.

Boladau is still training with Tigers, so he could be on trial...

Did anyone go to the Sponsors thing yesterday, any impressions of how Tigers trained?

First picture of Leatigaga that I’ve seen. He’s a big lad isn’t he but looks like there’s some spare timber in there.
Not as big though as the new West Indies spin bowler who is the biggest cricketer I’ve ever seen

I doubt we'll ever remove all of the spare timber but with him not being at the RWC the coaches will have time to put him through his paces. Shame Boris isn't here to run the rule over his scrummaging.

Where is Boris?

Congrats to Veainu and Kalamafoni on making the Tonga squad, surprised Sione Vailanu didn’t make the cut but perhaps he is injured.

I was looking over the Rugby Colorno article regarding their signing of Tuilagi, note this sentence here: Colorno's collaboration with Leicester Tigers bears fruit
