I think we would all like some God quality
Re: New Kit
oops.
Re: New Kit
All Blacks and their super rugby sides, Harlequins and Munster are the top sides. Sponsor athletes such as Youngs, Itoje and Croft before he retired.Mark62 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 8:51 am For what it’s worth Nike do very little rugby gear it’s not their market.
Adidas do the All Blacks can’t think of who else.
If either of these do did the kit you would be looking at a minimum of 20% price rise for fan kit, the BMW factor, then watch the brown stuff hit the whirly thing.
Samurai are a more traditional rugby supplier, on the occasions I have had to buy their kit for personal or club use I have found it to be well priced and good quality .
All imo of course

Tbf Adidas is losing interest, no longer do Lions, France, Italy or the Stormers.

Re: New Kit
TBF - JP14 you are correct, they even sponsor our own Ben Youngs and George Ford so that was incorrect on my part.JP14 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 11:58 amAll Blacks and their super rugby sides, Harlequins and Munster are the top sides. The personal sponsorship does tend to be more towards footwear and leisure sports gear, and I wouldn’t say that rugby strips was something they were looking to grow, the global appeal that football has just isn’t there, and rugby isn’t yet that big in the all important North American market

Re: New Kit
Is this a hint as to who the new provider will be RagingBull?
Adidas would be the dream. They’ve in the last two years begun providing Leinster’s kits along with Munster, Quins, the ABs and NZ Super Rugby sides. Also recently missed out on the bidding for England’s rights which went to Umbro by all accounts.
I was really disappointed by the quality of my Canterbury England shirt for the recent World Cup.
Re: New Kit
Samurai have a kit custom kit builder so we can give the club some hints on what we'd like.....

Umbro? They haven’t done rugby kits this side of the millenium?shanghaitiger wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 12:54 pmIs this a hint as to who the new provider will be RagingBull?

Having Umbro won't go down well with the traditionalists.shanghaitiger wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 9:20 amI was surprised as well: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/rugby ... -year.htmlJP14 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 7:26 amUmbro? My lad used to find their moulded boots comfortable for football and often used them for rugger when it firmed up and back then the lads from the posh schools had no idea what the brand was with it being more high street.
Re: New Kit
Not going to lie but I couldn’t see Adidas doing England, as in I just think it wouldn’t have worked.

Re: New Kit
Thought the Bristol Kit looks quality, then I learned they make their own kit
