Re: A team up
I've heard his is out for the season at least.
I know he was training, but was he doing contact work or just light work?

Re: A team up
I doubt we'll see Matt Smith in a Tigers shirt again. His injury looked awful with both elbow and shoulder getting hurt. I'm waiting for his retirement announcement and we'll deserved standing ovation at Welford Road.
The young lad on the bench Smith, is a backrower with plenty of aggression and workrate.

Re: A team up
Geez the Martin lad likes a tackle doesn't he, low hard and cuts the ball carrier down behind the gain line. Looking forward to seeing him develop into the first team, looks like he could a great physical lock.
Re: A team up
Can anyone who went to watch the game tell us how Blommetjies got on at fb?
Re: A team up
Looked lively, didn’t really get to touch the ball that much.
Formerly of Burbaaage (not Inkleh), now up north at uni

The $64,000 question is - did he look 'last 4 games in the Premiership' lively?

Can't see him playing against Newcastle, 2 games in 5 days would be pretty roughstrawclearer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 11:30 amThe $64,000 question is - did he look 'last 4 games in the Premiership' lively?

Agree though, maybe he’ll feature in the last 3 rounds.

Re: A team up
Might depend on Eastmond. If he's not fit then the options are running thin. Move Owen to 12, keep Toomua at 15 then bring the new boy onto the bench. It's that SAR into the back three, Toomua at 12 and new boy on the bench. Unlikely to see Hardwick or Joe Ford onto the bench with Toomua and George Ford in the 23.Hot_Charlie wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 1:08 pmThe potential of being 12th is pretty rough!kpj tiger wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 11:31 amCan't see him playing against Newcastle, 2 games in 5 days would be pretty roughstrawclearer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 11:30 am
