Is Kitch fit?
Louw and Underhill can destroy teams at the breakdown so I'd start two opensides. Possibly:
1.Genge
2.TPN
3.Cole
4.Williams
5.Wells
6.Fitzgerald
7.Evans
8.BOC
9.Youngs
10.Ford
11.May
12.Toomua
13.Tuilagi
14.Holmes
15.Worth
16.Kerr
17.Ma'afu/Feao
18.Heyes
19.Kitchener
20.Kalamafoni
21.White
22.Owen
23.Olowofela

I’d go along the same lines, but with Kalamafoni at 8 and BOC at 6.ABClub wrote: ↑Thu Dec 27, 2018 4:31 pm Is Kitch fit?

But that would leave Fitz on the bench as the BR option (harsh after a couple of decent performances) and Williams in at lock, which hasn’t seemed to be his position of late - even though I’d rather have him there than at 6.

In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

Re: Bath next week ....
Please no more humiliating defeats at Barff Hq.
Bout time we dished one out to them. So a TBP W for me would bring .....a) bragging rights - b) momentum - c)an end to a period of self doubt - d)round the year off very nicely
Come on you TTIIIIIIGERS

Re: Bath next week ....
I will say this though, and you can quote me,if one of us gets that TBP win we are one million % safe! Then the pressure has gone and we can target that 4th spot.

Re: Bath next week ....
No reason why we cant win, that's a good team and I don't see anything special in the Bath side.
Re: Bath next week ....
Their back row is a formidable unit. Especially if we get isolated at the breakdown and sir doesn't penalise lack of a release and hands past the ball on the floor.
A narrow inside defence "brick wall" was highlighted by the pundits at the Bath game last week. Get outside that and in behind and I could be on the Remy. Run into that wall and we'll get turned over.

Now I thought the same when I saw Zach Mercer, Rhys Priestland and Cooper Vuna on the bench

I’m hoping Manu get’s round the corner and really put pressure on that back 3

Yes we have to get to the edge of their defence as quick as possible, another tactic should be to sit Ford deep at times and put a few balls on top of the 7s guys head and pressure him with a good chase. BY should be putting his kicks to him whenever possible too.

Re: Bath next week ....
Putting the ball in behind Wilson with May chasing should be a tactic, he's 35 and whilst a good footballer is only in the side due to so many injuries. He's not got much pace and will turn to the boot rather than trying to play out.Scott1 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 2:26 pm Yes we have to get to the edge of their defence as quick as possible, another tactic should be to sit Ford deep at times and put a few balls on top of the 7s guys head and pressure him with a good chase. We should be able to generate plenty of pressure at the scrum but I doubt our lineout or mauling game is going to see much joy even with Kerr throwing in.
