Seems TheRugbyPaper are pushing it quite heavily on the front page. Cannot see Quins entertaining it unless they've got someone lined up though.

Heck, if I was Paul I'd question it.

On the otherhand, yes please with a cherry on top. I am a great admirer of Paul, and in my mind he should have been the target post Cockers.

Would be all for this, but does seem a bit pie in the sky given he’s only been at Quins since May. Interesting that the report still mentions GM as keeping a coaching role.

I think keeping Murphy is what most people want.

That's the impression I get on various forums.

You'll notice people have been asking for a defence coach or a DOR to work with Murphy, not someone to replace him.

Shame really, but really not surprising.

What is surprising is that they ran it on the front page. Someone is seriously stirring the pot

Well this thread was an emotional roller-coaster! Would have taken a boat load of cash to make it happen which we don't seem to have on hand at the moment.

It's almost as though The Rugby Paper just made it up to sell a few more copies.

Gustard is exactly the sort of guy we need but I can't see how we can afford to buy him out of his contract.
I saw Marika Vunibaka play

Does Cohen say the rumour isn’t rubbish though?

My pointless 2 cents on this.
Would the rugby paper really post a made up fissler story on the front page?
Fissler IMO must have been confident in this being a real story.
Tigers do have the money even if it meant some of the board dipping into their pockets to get it, let's face it Tigers need some biggish news to help generate the losing fan support.
Does Cohen actually shut down the rumour? Not really, questions it's foundation what ever that means.
Could Cohen be trying to lower expectation of Tigers fans in case this doesn't work ala Huw Jones? Maybe
Fissler isn't the only person to say this rumour.

It's just a really odd thing to make up, Jake White would've made more sense as a made up rumour or Mike Ford.

My personal feeling is the story is real, but it's along way from actually happening.

As a D.O.R. or a defence coach? I presume the latter,
