Oh! So we recruit someone else who is not good enough to play! Seems to be a recurring theme. We need outstanding team players who give their all for the team, the club, and for each other not another player who is not good enough. We have more than our share of “not good enough” players together with our not good enough coaching staff and not good management team and now we are talking about Mike Ford as a possible!!! Who is going to grab this club by the b...s and kick it into fit for purpose team. Surely we have to stop talking about it and take action. Time is running out.

Ok then. Tell us which "outstanding" scrum half you would have signed for cover due to not having Youngs, Harrison or Simmons available?

He was signed on a short term deal.

I expected us to sign Conor Murray, after all he's the best SH in the world and we're the best club in the world

The fact that's he in contract somewhere else , being short notice, letting him go within a few months and the salary cap are all irrelevant

He was a contingency signing, who through no fault of his own or lack of ability, wasn't needed.

I can only imagine the moans of some on here if we had suffered more injuries and not had anyone available.

I agree too. Opinions make this forum enjoyable and I love the banter. But personal attacks are quite immature and we are rugby fans after all!!
Now back on topic, when is this Ford thing going to land and be presented by the club?

As long as it's just banter, then that's fine. Just because someone has a different opinion than one's self, does not mean they should be insulted, because of it.
