Toomua's Replacement

Post by kpj tiger »

Just a bit of fun, Being as its looking certain Toomua is leaving this season who would people like to see Tigers get to replace his marquee spot, another 12 or a different position?

Not really a like for like replacement but I do really like André Esterhuisen of the Sharks, a really direct runner and ball carrrier.

Also when Tuilagi leaves/retires in a couple of years time I would love to see us go for Paul Lasike or Luamape. 🤑

Blimey, let him take his boots off and them cool down first.
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.

Beale has surpassed 60 caps since returning to the Waratahs so could return to the Premiership on less money than what Wasps got him for.

I'd take Beale if he'd stay, but he jumped ship on Wasps part way through a contract didn't he?

My ideal replacement would be Semi Radradra, play him at 13 and move Manu to 12

Would have the potential to be the most destructive centre partnership ever

Because the Waratahs and the ARU offered him more cash to return home so he could play for Australia.

I'd rather see us develop Hardwick and Worth this season. Add Eastmond into that mix and there's three options.

Then we could use the freed up cash and marquee spot to reinforce the tight five. A big brute of an enforcer or a high quality prop.

If we are definitely signing a new centre then Jeronimo de la Fuente is a classy 12. Like watching him ghost through gaps and make yards where he has no right.

Someone who will sign a contract and honour it would be nice. :smt023

Oh please if you got the chance to play for your country in a World Cup you would choose that over a club in a different country. As long as we get a huge payout from the Rebels/ARU and he plays with a stormer next season then I'm absolutely fine. Stop acting like a miserable hypocrite.

Explain how I'm a hypocrite?

I 100% agree that I'd choose to play for my country at a World Cup over anything else. That's why if I was offered a 2 year contract which ruled me out of playing in said World Cup, I wouldn't sign it. I'd ask for a 1 year contract or look elsewhere.

I think I've explained myself already in my previous posts but you've clearly not read them or don't understand them.
