Does it though? According to the text attached to his photo he has signed a two month contract - for July and August!

I agree with JP. Great news if true.
We have all seen what happens if players come back too early. Billy Vunipola being a prime example. We have also seen "false dawns" before, Manu being a prime example. Fortunately I believe that our S & C and medical teams will not rush him back before they consider he is fully ready. No doubt, given his ebullient character, he will be chomping at the bit to play and I don't envy the job of the backroom staff he may have to contain his enthusiasm.
So, I for one, will be managing my expectations around a New Year return and rejoicing if we see him fit and firing on all cylinders before then. My loyalties are Tigers first, England afterwards so the best case scenario for me would be a return after the Autumn Internationals so that England can't break him again before we get the benefit of having him back.

Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

No direct quotes from anyone 'serious'. Instead we have the good old "It is understood that.....". Ellis posting a video of himself riding on his mobility scooter is implicitly seen as 'evidence' of an early recovery.
Don't think I'll get too excited yet.
Update: Quote from MOC today - "Gengey is looking at being back around Christmas time."
