Re: Eng vs Barbarians
No comments on McGuigan?
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

Re: Eng vs Barbarians
McGuigan was selected for the Baabaas game last year though, and has played for Saxons. He’s just a failsafe selection as George & Cowan-Dickie are still with club for the final, Hartley & Taylor are injured and obviously Tom Youngs is no longer in the frame.
David Flatman has been rating Rob Webber recently, well he is a former Bath player, does he deserve a recall instead of McGuigan for the Baabaas game?

Re: Eng vs Barbarians
what has McGuigan possibly done to get a call up?
Re: Eng vs Barbarians
Is the selection less puzzling as it is a non-cap game?
I am neither clever enough to understand nor stupid enough to play this game
Re: Eng vs Barbarians
McGuigan didn't stand a chance here whilst they were trying to fit the Thacker name in.
Opportunity missed with McGuigan and if you believe in any potential for player development off strong basics then it can't be denied that he was wasted here.
Strong basics needed at international level otherwise they'll be totally destroyed.
He will strengthen Falcons at club level along with Mulipola.
Did I really read Webber's name above, first Morgan and now Webber, shocking stuff!

I only said that Flatman recommended him a bit ago in a XV of the Week video, I wasn’t suggesting him!
