Or just Fe’ao and allow Heyes the chance to step up to the grade?

To win is not as important as playing with style!

I heard talk at the end of last season that Fluffy (Mulipola) staying hinged on getting Cilliers off the books. They couldn't offload him and Fluffy couldn't wait around so signed his contract at Falcons. It even went to the extent of Fluffy's agent trying to find a club to take Cilliers.kpj tiger wrote: ↑Tue Jul 10, 2018 5:44 pmDoes raise the question if we were intending on letting Cilliers go why was Mulipola allowed to leave as well?Leicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Tue Jul 10, 2018 5:42 pmQuite possibly! Fingers crossed! Cilliers was never fit anyway and was rumoured to be on some fair wedge.

Having no props may be preferable to having some previous signings
I'm not cynical just experienced

Heyes is 19. I'd expect him to peak in about a decades time. Throwing him in the deep end as a teenager is a quick way to get him injured. He should be learning his trade on loan at Loughborough Students and in the A league.
We need two props coming in minimum or we're asking for issues.

I’m not suggesting we should throw him in the Deep end, just game time in the PRC and some experience. With Fe’ao, Bateman and Cole ahead of him Heyes hopefully won’t be required

Fe'ao confirmed? Not seen it yet. Currently our first team options are;
LH; Genge (injured), Bateman, Gigena
TH; Cole, Cortes
There's Heyes and Hill and whatever coming through but with Genge and Cole likely to be in and around the England squad we aren't exactly well stocked particularly given Gigena is largely inexperienced at this level and when do we not see injuries.
It would be nice to be able to rotate the props a bit this season instead of flogging Cole. Keep our big lads fresh so they can do the business at the business end.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 1
I'd assumed there'd only be one prop incoming, but Cilliers departure suggests it'll need to be two.
Rizzo, Mulipola, Cilliers, Traynor?, Baumann and Betts all gone, only Cortes incoming so far. For the amount they were used, Traynor, Baumann and Betts could be replaced by Grahamslaw/Hills and Heyes, But ultimately two more to join Cortes as replacements for Rizzo, Mulipola and Cilliers are the bare minimum.
I'd be stunned if we'd leave ourselves so short, must be something being done in the background.

We should get hints on the Tigers social media right about now if they’re any signings to be announced today.
