Anyone know the latest re: Mafi? There was a lot of talk that he was signing, then he wasn’t, then he was but he broke his hand but all not heard anything for a while...

With those already here and those announced I think the money would be better spent else where.

Totally agree. I really don't think we need Mafi now that we have acquired some serious forward talent for next season. The money would be much better spent on a utility back.

Fully agree. I think a past his best Mafi isn’t what we should be spending the remaining cap on. A centre - Johnny Williams would be ideal - or utility back my preference! Either way would like to get the Mafi situation cleared up!

Tom Stephenson would be my choice

Stephenson is a great shout. Can cover 12 and 13 and has massive potential. Ages ago was the biggest centre prospect in the English age groups.

I know Aspland Robinson has been announced as signed and I think we will start to see more of Worth and Olofewa but have we any ideas on may not be here.

I know Malouf has been mentioned, but what about, Brady, Pakalani etc.

Brady is 100% going from what I gather. Malouf no one is sure about although is rumoured to be going back to Aussie 7s. Neither are a massive loss to be honest. May, Holmes and Thompstone are all better.

I think there should be a new sticky for players people would like to see at Tigers but haven’t got a snowballs chance in hell go getting.

However, Gerbrandt Grobler is out of contract with Munster (allegedly). Would we be interested in a 19 stone mobile enforcer as talented as he, well normally yes, given before his one year stints at Racing and Munster he served a two year drugs ban?
