Herein lies the problem.
O'Connor was brought in last season to give him a full preseason.
There have been some bright spots in recruitment. Mapaplangi has looked an astute acquisition, as has Malouf, two relative unknowns. May also a key addition alongside Ford, albeit more known quantities.
There ends the success stories. Front five, and especially front row continues to be an issue. We push our starting props though a full 80 because we have no faith in our bench. We went from dominating the set piece for the first 60 plus minutes, to getting shunted back due to fresh legs for Sarries.
We just look to lack the bit of dynamism, physicality and sheer out and out nasty brute force, to dominate the opposition as we have done historically.

Yes my Bath blows very hot and cold especially when both taps are on fully!!!
