If Beale moves - announcement in a couple of weeks - that would change things for MillerBIttySmalls wrote:If we are genuinely after a full back then why not go for Rob Miller at Wasps?
They have Le Roux and Beale so Miller never gets a look in.
Top class full back that would come much cheaper than Brown and be available all season.

Yeah I thought about that but the word on the street is that Beale will stay. Apparently he enjoys it and is covered by 'Giteau's law' in terms of wallaby selection. Suppose we will have to wait and see.strawclearer wrote:If Beale moves - announcement in a couple of weeks - that would change things for MillerBIttySmalls wrote:If we are genuinely after a full back then why not go for Rob Miller at Wasps?

I reckon Brown is on the downward slope. Not worth a two year contract, particularly given all the baggage around being the angriest wee ...... on the pitch.
Re: Mike Brown
What's the point in signing any new back when you have not got the forwards that can get the ball to him.
Re: Mike Brown
You could just sit back and wait for the opposition to kick the ball back to him!
Re: Mike Brown
Is there any point in continuing this thread until we know if Tigers have made an offer and Brown has made his decision?
Re: Mike Brown
Do the board not realise we need to sort out the powderpuff back row first as well as getting in a new lock?!

If you find it boring Noddy555, you don't have to read it. Others obviously don't.Noddy555 wrote:Is there any point in continuing this thread until we know if Tigers have made an offer and Brown has made his decision?

I do have a sense that maybe this was a bit of a random rumour, but I guess time will tell. A bit of speculation every now and then is a welcome distraction and a bit of fun.
