Whitecap Tiger, I was not being negative, I was just commenting on the irony of Ellis9 positively speculating what might be possible after the way he shot me down for speculating what might have been possible if we had done something different in the Sarries game.

How come you are able to speculate in such an optimistic way when you shouted me down for speculating what might have happened if we had not taken that ridiculously negative penalty against Sarries, we could have had a home semi! Don't you think you ought to be consistent with your opinions, and accept that you are not always right?
What?! You said we made the wrong decision by going for 3 points and we're going on like we would definitely have scored the try. Nowhere have I said we will definitely finish second. All I have said is that it is now a more realistic target.
The two scenarios are completely different.

Negativity comment not aimed at you :smt023 to clarify, I originally did type something in response to your post LE18 but after reading it back thought it unfair comment by me, so deleted it before posting, or so I thought..... :smt005

Apologies :smt006

There have been quite a few posters saying Tigers will not make top six, for this to happen Tigers would have to concede a nine point advantage. To get to level pegging on second Tigers need to close a six point gap. Perhaps those of you scoffing at Ellis are looking in the wrong direction? At least Ellis puts the support in supporter.
I am neither clever enough to understand nor stupid enough to play this game

top 6 no problem. Top 4 optimistic and relies on us keeping the best players playing, not the subs.

Just watching the Sale first half performance against Wasps 24- 9 at HT. They have games against all the top sides and if they continue in this vein they could well dent a few top four aspirations.

Very unlikely, but not impossible.

Wasps mid field of Cipriani, Eastmond and Gopperth very skilful but not very physical.
Jennings and Addison just running over the top of them.

As typing this Le Roux and Beale combine for great score

Agreed, both Sale and Newcastle are quite capable of turning over any side given half a chance.
