In truth my colleague advised that Ackerman does not like Owen Williams so it's not just his style, ability or versatility in covering the centres and place kicks, hence his infrequent appearances. Another case of the grass not being greener on the quest for cash. Such a shame as he was rated & respected here @ Tigers. No3 number 10 and probably No3 Centre too.fentiger wrote: ↑Sun May 13, 2018 6:44 pmWould be a better back up than we have currently! He has not been played much by Glos as Ackerman doesn't like his style!Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Sun May 13, 2018 5:27 pmwhy would you want him, Ford on his day is a match winner as is Toomua, Owen Williams left for more money and hasn't been great for Gloucester when he's been fit

To the world you may be just one person.
But to that one person you may be the world!

At the time I wondered if Owen's career would founder. I think if we could match the WRU's probably small offer, and given the attraction of Rodney Parade on a Friday in winter...........AngusMcCoatup wrote: ↑Mon May 14, 2018 3:17 pmIn truth my colleague advised that Ackerman does not like Owen Williams so it's not just his style, ability or versatility in covering the centres and place kicks, hence his infrequent appearances. So Haskell joining our neighbours in the south then. Haven’t looked at any of their message boards to get a sense of the reaction...

I think this reply summed it up for me:markharbtiger wrote: ↑Mon May 14, 2018 7:07 pm So Haskell joining our neighbours in the south then. Haven’t looked at any of their message boards to get a sense of the reaction...
"If Haskell is the answer then we are asking the wrong question."

Nakawara linked with Stains. They will have the cap after releasing 17 too.

We've seriously missed a trick there.
Re: Transfers & Rumours Non Tigers 2016/17
A second row of the Man Mountain and Nakarawa! That is one to tremble in fear about.

The Head Coach will be confirmed later today, why on earth will Gustard leave the England set up?Something going wrong behind the scenes? Harlequins will have to pay a lot of money to compensate the RFU. I’m also surprised that they haven’t used the NZ deal to their advantage to get a Kiwi coach.

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non Tigers 2016/17
I'm actually really annoyed by Gustard going to Quins. It's not against Quins, who I feel have got an excellent coach who will do wonders there, or Gustard for taking up what is an excellent opportunity but against the rugby board of this club who along with senior players decided that O'Connor should be our new head honcho so that Simon Cohens best mate could be [strike]Director of Rugby[/strike] Head of Rugby Operations.
Not only that, but we are also seeing Sam Vesty move to Saints this summer, when we could desperately use a skills coach with a different approach and it doesn't seem Smurf is having an effect in that department...

If :censored: hits the fan next season we should have plenty of options available for the 2019/20 season anyway in terms of Head coaches.
