Thank you for this great news Bunchy...
Re: Matt Toomua
This news, according to people on the Facebook group, came from Cockers at the event last night.
Great news!
Although I'm not sure I'd expect him to come straight in just yet, I imagine he'll need a week or two to settle in.

Re: Matt Toomua
May still need to complete his concussion protocol so Im not expecting to see him for a bit yet
I'm not cynical just experienced
Re: Matt Toomua
I'm never too sure how the protocol is conducted. He might do, though you'd imagine a long haul flight might have been something to avoid if there were till concerns...?chewbacca wrote:May still need to complete his concussion protocol so Im not expecting to see him for a bit yet

Which Wednesday?Bunchy wrote:Arrives Wednesday apparently
Joking aside, this is good news, settling in time then hopefully into the fray!
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.
Re: Matt Toomua
But will he arrive fully prepared and in form or knackered and not fit for 6 weeks?
Re: Matt Toomua
Doubt that he will be available for a couple of weeks as he has been recovering from concussion

Re: Matt Toomua
I'd guess we may see him in some capacity against Worcester so he has some game time before Glasgow
Re: Matt Toomua
If he had been fit he would have been in the Wallabies squad.

Re: Matt Toomua
Indeed, he must be very unfit for the Wallabies to release him from the championship so early. Guess an unfit and unavailable world class No12 is better than none.Tigerbeat wrote:If he had been fit he would have been in the Wallabies squad.
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity
Re: Matt Toomua
We should be used to it, he's probably got the same agent as JDV.sapajo wrote:Indeed, he must be very unfit for the Wallabies to release him from the championship so early. The only import I remember having an immediate run off the plane was Scotty Hamilton, instant hit with the supporters.
