Does this make Bruce Craig Baldrick and he has a cunning plan to save Bath?

If true then that's excellent work by Bath, a good coup.

Or it could be the last throw of the dice before walking away?

Sofar none of Barf's summer appointments can be said to fill their fans with joy. Mediocrity seems to have swept in long before Mike Ford departed.

Admittedly, I have only spoken to a couple of Bath fans recently, both ST holders, and they are dismayed by the route the club seems to be taking. Both were dismayed that they were having to go to London for a home game- a game they have seen as a banker 4/5 points recently. They think that they will lose it now, but I am not so sure. They see it purely as money making!
Their biggest moan is that they believe there is no long term plan, with Ford dumped after one poor season. I don't know what they will think about Blackadder, if it happens!

PS How about Victor Ubogu as the Bishop of Bath & Wells?

Would he report to the Archbishop of Banterbury, James Haskell (self styled)?

Agree to an extent. Crusaders failed to make the playoffs last season for the first time in yonks. Some 'saders fans not sorry to see him go believing the team has gone stale, new blood needed.

That said, maybe the same could be said for Bladder, change of scenery and all that.

For my sins I now work and live in Somerset.
An ardent Tiger and never one to pass over a snipe at West country Rugby.
Bath see themselves as THE TEAM., they were overjoyed by CRAIG and his splash the cash attitude. Great things were forecast.
So what now.... Exeter runners up and top four competitors. Gloucester creeping and stuttering with shoots of recovery. Bristol newly promoted with previous premiership credibility and a good balance team.
Worcester have to improve. But have good foundations.
So Bath have some pressure this next season to prove their pedigree.
Ford, Eastman and other possible defectors show the state of behind the scenes. Does any one really believe CRAIG when he says he's not selling. False economy with new sadly needed River stand???
My monies on Bristol to be top West country club.

Wellstiger: I agree with most of your post except for the last bit.
Do you really think that Bristol will out do Exeter in their first season back in the the Prem.
They may well give a few clubs a very good run for the win but not quite top end of table just yet.
They too have a pretty loaded backer who has number of sporting clubs in the bristol area under his wing (All under the name of "Bristol Sport") & from what I can make out has a fair bit more dosh than BC)
BTW I too am living in the West country (East Of bath), which does have its fair share of Bath supporters who have been OTT about how they were going to take on all comers after Craig took out his cheque book. But I get the feeling that after last season they are not so sure.
