With Wasps signing Beale I doubt they will get Le Roux as well. I imagine Beale is going to be be their fully back anyway.RagingBull wrote:TRP rumours
Wasps closing in on Willie Le Roux (doubt this one)
Lancaster in talks with Highlanders to replace Joesph (no way this will happen)
Coventry might be off to Cheifs (super rugby)
Saints interested in bringing back Manoa
Matthew Rees weighing up an offer to be a player coach for Dragons
Cory Jane looking at joining the AP. (Maybe be a interesting one for Tigers although he is 33)

Word on the Wasps forum is that Beale is seen as their 12 and they have Le Roux on a 3 year dealSpicer wrote:With Wasps signing Beale I doubt they will get Le Roux as well. I imagine Beale is going to be be their fully back anyway.RagingBull wrote:TRP rumours

Wasps would have an epic backline with 9. Robson 10. Cipriani 11. Halai 12. Beale 13. Daly 14. Wade 15. Le Roux

Bl dy hell I hope not....I would be all green with jealousy..Beale is somewhat a risk but Le Roux would be a very good signing..

To be fair though 9. Youngs 10. Burns 11. JPP 12. Tuilagi 13. Toomua 14. Betham 15. Veainu is a pretty epic backline too!

Tuilagi and Toomua will be more effective the other way round. I don't care what Eddie Jones thinks.kpj tiger wrote:To be fair though 9. Youngs 10. Burns 11. JPP 12. Tuilagi 13. Toomua 14. Betham 15. Veainu is a pretty epic backline too!

Agreed - Toomua is a genuine '2nd receiver' and is an adept kicker out of hand. Not sure these apply to Manu although I still expect them to switch positions during a match to suit the game plan...Iain wrote:Tuilagi and Toomua will be more effective the other way round. Yeah in fairness that's what I think Mauger wants. He's clearly quite keen on fluidity between positions.strawclearer wrote:Agreed - Toomua is a genuine '2nd receiver' and is an adept kicker out of hand.
