Some of them look like they think tackling is optional.
Crane plodding around, Kitchener looking like he is lost and Camatcho not at the races.
Flash looking passes conceding 10m because none of them think they have to run forwards before spinning the pass.
Smith and Tait in the centres doesn't seem to work.
O'Connor being injured leaves us with no player competing at the breakdown.
Frankly a poor effort.

Credit where it's due: best team won.
Amongst other things, we lost because we can't tackle and this has been a problem for some time, that's the worst thing I saw tonight.

Utterly. utterly :censored:. And that is being cruel to the :censored: of this world.

Only good point, we've not bought our tickets for Stade.

Next week Quinns will make it a cricket score.

Not sure how there can be many excuses for that performance. We lost out in physicality from the start. Subs made a difference, but not good enough.

Didn't seem to be any clue in attack because we were on the back foot constantly.

Makes Quins next week look even bigger. Hopefully won't hear too much about needing a "reaction" next week.

A complete embarrassment, up against the bottom team, the ref garner hasn't a clue and as we expected he would break the Tigers back when he could but what an inept, lack of compassion, quality and tigers spirt display was beyond belief, Burns has no control at fly half, Camacho is not up to speck, Tait needs to pack his bags to France; rubbish throughout, we are going backwards quickly and we cannot blame the 6 nations!!!

Don't know what it looked like on Tv but being here was awful...

Ghilrandhi was terribly off the pace...Thacker added a lot
Our best player tonight Pearce cannot start somehow & he is off next season :smt011
Centres offered very little going forward..
BALL CARRYING???? We had none...

Plus was that Bryant looked good for his few touches..
Roberts did well with straight hard running

I lost count of the things that angered me about that performance(?), lack of poise, accuracy etc, but one thing stood out above all for me. How many times does Greg Garner have to ref Tigers before they learn how to play him. Okay he is arguably the most inept ref in the AP but Tigers seemed intent on giving him reasons to ping them :smt013

For what ever reason we are very poor on plastic, twice being beaten on them with GG as referee. Do we not prepare for both in training.
However, I thought the Newcastle line out was the area where GG was in fact clueless. Both sides line up correctly, and their hooker takes a pace sideways towards his line before throwing in perfectly straight down the Falcons line. It was so obvious, but no one from tigers called it!
Other posters have said it is the same for both teams, but he is appalling at the basics!

Falcons were the better team, but please guys it isn't the end of the world, remember both Bath and Quins have lost there.

Just about as weak a performance as I have seen. What's worse is there was absolutely no heart. Deano and Wellsey have got the Falcons playing with the old Tigers heart. A bunch of talented guys who will work their guts out for each other.

And worst of all? We just made fat bloke look good!

Oh and things were going to be so much better with our "new style of rugby" this season.

I said changing style doesn't necessarily bring wins and success.

It will be so much better to watch, they said.

Last season was so frustrating, they said.

Comacho doesn't have what it takes. Tait needs to use his brain and realise he can't do it all on his own, the other 14 players aren't there just to admire him.

I really hoped that these awful performances from the last few years were a thing of the past with the new management set-up, but apparently not. Perhaps this is the new 'Tigers way'.

Hang on, have Lindleys taken over the team as well as the bars?

Burns for me offers no control or quality, big belly Goode controlled the line, we so need Williams back!! For me bin Burns, Williams number 1 fly half next year with Toomua conning in when he has too.

We lack a leader and we lack a bruiser (carring and tackling).

It's dire.
I don't think calling them "enthusiastic, fast and positive" is doing them any disservice? Do you?
