Remember that Williams got 6 weeks (reduced from 12) for pleading guilty to the same category of offence against Burrell. So in that respect it appears to be a consistent judgement.

I'm not entirely sure that Ashton has exhibited 'previous good character'. I may be wrong, but he's got something of a history of foul play.
Who will replace him is the question.
