'Agrees' and dry ink on paper can be miles apart but the provenance of the info seems fairly good. I rather got the impression from Crowson's bit in last night's Merc that he was preparing us for the worst case scenario of him leaving.

I still think that Tigers are getting a great team together under Mauger with or without him, but then it just wouldn't be a Tigers team without a Tuilagi in it somewhere. - if only because it means we won't be facing him.

If this is correct, and I believe that it is, then we are moving towards having the best squad we have had for 10 years or more. We have always had great forwards, and we tend to take that as a given, but this is the first time in ages that we have real quality across the backs.
