Re: Tigers Outside backs.
Point taken Raging but on current form I prefer a centre pairing of Betham and Matt Smith with Tulissa Veinu on the wing and Goneva when he's fit on the other wing and Adam Thompstone as the sub, although he did play well yesterday as did all the backs, and I thought George Catchpole had an outstanding game at Full back coming on when Tait got injured and what a wise move it was to purchase Mike Williams and Brendan O'Connor.
Re: Tigers Outside backs.
Thanks RB. As always, your stats are very interesting
Life can be unpredictable, so eat your pudding first!

Didn't Veainu switch to full back when Tait went off.Noddy555 wrote:Point taken Raging but on current form I prefer a centre pairing of Betham and Matt Smith with Tulissa Veinu on the wing and Goneva when he's fit on the other wing and Adam Thompstone as the sub, although he did play well yesterday as did all the backs, and I thought George Catchpole had an outstanding game at Full back coming on when Tait got injured and what a wise move it was to purchase Mike Williams and Brendan O'Connor.

Yes he did but give Nod a break it's hard when you can barely see your own feet and watch the game with binocularsourla wrote:Didn't Veainu switch to full back when Tait went off.Noddy555 wrote:Point taken Raging but on current form I prefer a centre pairing of Betham and Matt Smith with Tulissa Veinu on the wing and Goneva when he's fit on the other wing and Adam Thompstone as the sub, although he did play well yesterday as did all the backs, and I thought George Catchpole had an outstanding game at Full back coming on when Tait got injured and what a wise move it was to purchase Mike Williams and Brendan O'Connor.
Re: Tigers Outside backs.
RB, what are Smiths stats please, he is a man transformed and is proving me wrong, I really did think he was on his last chance saloon, but now he is a different bloke.
Re: Tigers Outside backs.
stat from @Optajonny on Twitter: Since 2008/2009 no Tigers player had gained 150+ metres in a premiership game, Veainu has done it twice in his last two games
nice
nice
Re: Tigers Outside backs.
Still nothing for Smith?
Re: Tigers Outside backs.
Veainu and Catchpole alternated FB it appeared to me, but I may be mistaken as I was on the Crumbie rail by the 10m line and 20m is a long way to see when you are ancient

God created rugby so footballers have heros too
Re: Tigers Outside backs.
Probably a little reluctant to pass (not a criticism: when you can step like that, who can blame him?).Chobbsy wrote:I wonder what Veainu would be like in the centres, his feet are very Jonathan Joseph esk.RagingBull wrote:Veainu - Games 5 starts 3
