Not Saying Salvi had a poor game or anything just thought McCaffrey actually looked better in general. Just IMO.

Considering when people thought he was signed as a salvi replacement there was a bit of an up roar I thought he held his own very well today.

Both good players just different.
It's horses for courses.
Pesonally though going on yesterday we could've done with a Salvi type.
Perhaps O'Connor will bring that, we will see.
Exeter had more intensity to their game, their players were physically better than ours and a Salvi type would've slowed them down a little and helped create more space for the likes of Betham.
Betham looked a different player yesterday not because he is all of a sudden poor but because he had less space and more defenders in front of him than we have seen recently.
Exeter weren't really stretched much before the ball went wide.

Agree with all points there.
Betham looked desperate to do something but never had the space.
O'Connor was always signed as the salvi replacement, but i think McCaffrey has done an excellent job covering for him. (If I dare say prob better than if it was Gibson covering who I never saw really as a 7)
