Lancaster Countdown - has he gone yet?

Post by jgriffin »

Personally I'd like to have a sticky topic called the Lancaster Clock - counting up to when he goes. Right now what we are definitely seeing is a whitewashed wall, behind which the blazers rotate and disappear up their importances; eventually we might get some sort of statement or resolution but how many weeks, months or (Noooooo!)years.

We could equally have a sweepstake on who does get the knife -
evens Wig
2/1 Catt
5/1 Farrell
10/1 Lancaster
50/1 Ritchie
1000/1 Squeaky

:smt013 :smt013 :smt013
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

Ok

How do I place my bet with you, hope you will honour those odds? :smt045

There's no time scale mentioned so I might have some serious money on Lancaster being gone in the next 5 years, will the bet still stand? :smt023

If (!!) Richie falls on his sword (as he should) then he will knife all the others in the back (including squeaky) before doing so!

No one will fall on their sword. The RFU is circling its wagons to make it's 'Leap of Faith' defence justifiable and leak-proof.Experienced rugby media luvvies are expressing sympathy and support. Even Gatlands Law has now come out in support of Stu and team.
Expect a lot of 'CW didn't become SCW without failing first' type comments so like LE 18 I put my money on the next 5 years.

Assume you meant Richie??!! Don't see how he can scapegoat anyone: he approved the deal and described it as that 'Leap of Faith'.
Teflon' s defences were already in place with the 'we're peeking for 2019' comment!

Concur that Squeaky put his peaking defence in place although somewhat late.

See earlier post.

If Lancaster goes it will because they want a top coach.

A top coach will only come if Andrew goes and he gets complete say in support coaches.

So IMO if Lancaster goes Andrew, Farrell and prob Rowntree and Catt go with him.

Come on England get Eddie Jones in.
