Goodey a true legend!! He will be missed.

A very underrated player that used to delight and infuriate me equally whilst at Tigers - but we loved him really.

But to say he was twice the player Ford will ever be is pushing it a bit JG, Ford is still incredibly young and has lots of improvement still to come.

Good luck to you Andy!!

Great player. Fantastic kicking out of hand. I remember one game where we got 3 tries as a result of him chipping to each winger from around the 22 and, 5m in front of the posts, putting a grubber through under the posts. Can't remember if he scored it or someone else.

I know that he could be a bit inconsistent, but he never let missing a penalty or conversion put him off the next one (unlike some others). And as for the distance he could get when clearing down field... Not a bad tackler either, although no surprise as he wouldn't have looked out of place in many a front row :smt003
