Perhaps we should have had quicker builders from Ulster :- Stand up from the Ulster men!

Hopefully they are selling as well as the season tickets at the other end of the pitch, which are largely sold out.

Re: Still stuck in the mud!
the delay that they are facing at the minute was caused by them finding very large lumps of concrete under the original stand that they had not anticipated. Extra equipment had to be brought in, but according to my info, things are still be on time !!wormus wrote:** It is not the selling the seats that concerns us it is have they bought the seats yet?Bill W (2) wrote:How are the seats selling?

I was wondering where I'd left those large lumps of concrete...

Re: Still stuck in the mud!
I understand that under the great "Chalkie" White part of training regime was to run the length of the pitch (from the clubhouse) carrying a concrete block ans to then ascend and decend "the mound" (still carrying the block), and return to the clubhouse where the block was then thrown towards the clubhouse. Clearly many fell short, Hence the conrete lumps unearthed.

I heard that in the 1920's / 1930's a concrete jacket was a guaranteed way of ensuring that a particular bad ref did not re-appear in charge of any future games.

Could it be that they have finally found great uncle S.S. Walsh, long search for by his son Steve?
