O'Coonor looks like a Warburton as opposed to a Tipuric.

If that makes sense.

Watched the Blues and Crusaders today, have to say i hope Mauger brings a couple of their backs, looked very pacey and sharp, offload game was outstanding.

As for O'Connor he is a hard worker who reads the game well, he is a very similar player to Crane. Still nothing confirmed on Salvi, lets hope he stays, O'Connor certainly doesnt fall into the Salvi mould.

I'd be surprised if the Sader's would allow themselves to loose any more players already loosing 2 huge names in the backs Slade & Carter and Taylor at FB aswell this would be leaving the cupboard very bare if they did lose any more but i would not be complaining if Naldaldo (SP) big islander winger signed, Dagg or Crotty!

Dagg contracted until 2017 with NZ so wouldnt be expecting him in the backline next year.

Behave! Morris would have his work cut out to nail the 15 shirt down...

No Marquee signing then. Cohen's confirmed it in tomorrow's Times.

Naldolo plays 12 at international level and can kick for goal as well.

Although I know we are still in talk with some names (some might be big names some might not be so big) but then again talks mean nothing this day and age.

I don't know though how much is trying to lower expectations or how much is true.

The fact is you knew how much the stadium was going to cost before certain comments about spending big.

But things change.

The market has shot up in a shot space of time (IMO the Irish clubs fault).

One of those wait and see things.

Same with Cohen don't trust a word either say when it comes to contracts etc lots of smoke screens etc.

Maybe more 'Salvi-like' than some give him credit for: https://vine.co/v/emAuqeH0FKX

An interesting article. We so rarely hear what is happening at the club that these interviews can be quiet eye opening for us. I think that probably means no Marque signing I would think. At least we can get the youth promoted I suppose...
Cockers says criticism has been unfair but then goes on to say that we have been s**t...

From what I've seem he reminds me of Newby. He plays the wider role that Gibson and Croft do for us which limits his impact at the breakdown for the Blues. The change to the Tigers game plan where he'll be in amongst the action more will benefit him and the slower pace of NH rugby will demonstrate his athleticism.

I think he'll be a good signing.
