Steve Walsh Retires!

Not likely to be missed in England (and probably not elsewhere)

Top level rugby needs utterly impartial refs who know, understand and consistently apply the laws of the game.

Shame too many "interpret" rather than apply the laws

How long before the real reason for his immediate retirement is to appear.
Lets hope Wigglesworth & Garner follow in Walsh's steps.

Why some much dislike for a person whose only crime was to give a decision that some disagreed with. Shallow attitudes me thinks. I also met the man a few times in 2005, on the last occasion along with Steve Hanson talking for around three hours, sharing a few bottles of red.
