2nd Large Screen
I called at shop today to buy my new shirt, noticed work going on in Crumbie corner, shop confirmed it was the new screen being erected!

I'm surprised! Like London buses these things!
Re: 2nd Large Screen
so we wait for ages, being the last team on earth to get a tv, and now all of a sudden we shall have two? great news- makes up for lost time. does anyone know of any other clubs that have two?
Re: 2nd Large Screen
About time too now everybody in all corners of the ground will be able to see instant replays and this will bring us up to the expected standard for the Aviva Premiership.

Re: 2nd Large Screen
And those in the club house end of the GNC can now moan that they can't see either screen as one is too far away and the other is at the wrong angle.....just pre-empting the way that posts seem to be going on here of late
Re: 2nd Large Screen
I wonder if they will show the kicks this season?

Unlikely, as it can be distracting to kickers.mol2 wrote:I wonder if they will show the kicks this season?

Surely the screen in the corner it won't distract the kickers?Darc Tiger wrote:Unlikely, as it can be distracting to kickers.mol2 wrote:I wonder if they will show the kicks this season?

Re: 2nd Large Screen
Imagine taking a kick at the Goldsmiths Stand end from the 22m line near the touchline in front of the GNC Stand. The new screen could be directly in your eyeline. I'll check the angles on Friday night.cidermark wrote:Surely the screen in the corner it won't distract the kickers?
Re: 2nd Large Screen
Then they can show those kicks on the clubhouse screen and the kicks taken in the direction of the clubhouse can be shown on the Goldsmiths screen
Re: 2nd Large Screen
For Longlive Crumbie if you can't see the original screen because it's too far away then I suggest you need to visit the opticians. As for craning your neck because theNew one's at an awkward angle, that I just do not believe, I think you are being over fussy. perhaps you would like to bring a portable lap top or ipad then we can feed the image direct to your own personal screen.Really.

Think you may need to re-read longlivethecrumbie's post noody555, doesn't appear to be complaining for him/her self, merely pre-empting someone moaning about it (which they say in their post....), no matter what Tigers do, they can't please everybody.Noddy555 wrote:For Longlive Crumbie if you can't see the original screen because it's too far away then I suggest you need to visit the opticians.
