Re: Tigers v Saracens
I'm slightly suprised by the team and am hoping the key players that are missing are merely being rested. I half think we must know the Sarries side that is coming and that is even more mixed than ours.
Re: Tigers v Saracens
"So Mark, what we doing then?"
"I'm sending up a B team Cockers, it's all yours"
"Rightyo, I can rest a few then?"
"No doubts mate, no doubts."
True story, honestly

I thought the team hadn't been announced yet? Not due till 12 noon Friday.
Listening to the pouring rain
Waiting for the world to change
Beginning to wonder if we'll wait in vain
For one fine day

Re: Teams Up
As you say a mixed team.
I hope they play better than the mixed 2nd half team (replacements ) at Sale !
It will be an interesting game!!
I just hope the other games go our way so we have a home semi final .

Re: Teams Up
Looking at the Sarries team, in conjunction with ours this seems more like an A game than Aviva Premiership. Hope it doesn't backfire on us.

Re: Teams Up
Just love paying to watch an A league game as the potential last home game of the season. Great value for money and just shows Tigers ongoing commitment for value for money for season ticket holders.
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity
Re: Teams Up
Have to say I am a little dissapointed with that team, last game of the season against Saracens and you would expect the strongest team to be put out even tho sarries are under strength, could honestly see us getting turned over and ending up on the plastic pitch.

Re: Teams Up
You've outdone yourself - you'd sooner we flog our first choice players in a match against a side who have already qualified and were always likely to put out a 2nd string in order for season ticket holders - who have spent all year seeing them - may see the first choice players?sapajo wrote:Just love paying to watch an A league game as the potential last home game of the season. As opposed to resting key players, putting out a team which still ought to win and looking to actually win silverware?
You're all mostly adults - I'm sure you'll survive without seeing the first choice players for one match given the context.
Re: Tigers v Saracens
Was there some collusion between Tigers and Saffas I wonder?
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Personally, i'm actually quite excited about seeing Mele and Matera get some decent game time.

In the event that results go our way I'm pretty sure we'll be at home to Saints with Bath or Quins off to SArriesAPJones wrote:I just hope the other games go our way so we have a home semi final against Barf or the Hairy Gueens.
You have options, I'm sure you're aware of them, they've been pointed out before.sapajo wrote:Just love paying to watch an A league game as the potential last home game of the season. Great value for money and just shows Tigers ongoing commitment for value for money for season ticket holders.
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.
