Deserves to recognised for his loyalty to Tigers and Leicester
Of course this is my own opinion and other posters may have a different perceived factual viewpoint.

Great to see :smt038

One question though - although the doctorate is honorary can he he still call himself doctor as if was a real PhD.
Hambo :- He was with England when he was injured, but he was a Tigers player, our player. He is still our player.”

I am informed by my father who is a PhD and former senior lecturer that it is not considered customary for recipients of an Honorary Degree to call themselves "Doctor". That won't stop the media doing so though, in the same way they persist in using "Sir" for those celebrities who are a non-British citizens when a knighthood awarded to such does not include the use of the title "Sir".
