Hambo :- He was with England when he was injured, but he was a Tigers player, our player. He is still our player.”

Fly-half, centre or fullback?

So having Ford, Heathcote, Devoto, Williams, Banahan, Eastmond, Joseph, Agulla, Abendanon and Watson to cover the positions was not enough?

So Ford has chosen to leave Leicester and the tutelage of Flood to go to Bath where he'll have an even more level-headed and skillful fly-half?

Oh, wait . . .

Ollie DeVoto looks like an incredible talent from the junior world championships, maybe we should get his dad on the coaching staff? Henson on the other hand, he must still have the goods otherwise these grand old clubs wouldn't keep throwing contracts at him but for the life of me I can't see what he brings.

Ospreys, sabbatical, reality TV x3, Saracens, Toulon, Cardiff Blues, London Welsh and now Bath ........ and all in 4 years! And all seasoned with drunkenness, indiscipline and chronic immaturity.

Best of all was to see TangoMan's tweet when I was surfing last night -

Super Gavin Henson‏@UnrealGavHenson - Delighted to be a part of @bathrugby always enjoyed playing there, the noise The Shed makes when the team are winning is like nowhere else.

Now updated with this - nothing like making a good educated impression on your new fans...

Super Gavin Henson‏@UnrealGavHenson - Just had @JeremyGuscott on the phone. Says The Shed is Gloucester, not Bath. Apologies. Don't want to offend my new cherry and white army!

Does he even know what colour they play in?

I'd love to have a ticket in the Shed for the first time he plays there. He has gone to Bath, right?

I'm ashamed to say yes, given that it says it quite explicitly...

I was caught out by expectation and the fact that a similar thing happened a few years back when someone signed for Manchester City and started to extol the virtues of United.

Having seen Henson develop from a kid in a school match against Bishop Gore in Swansea, a really great talent has been largely wasted by injury and personal failings. In his games for Welsh you could see the vision and ability - sad to see what could have been.
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

Genuinely think that Bath will do him the world of good. Far better discipline at Bath, solid squad will be a usual bench boy and to cover for international breaks. He may be a brilliant signing.

Discipline at Bath?
Things must have changed since the Stevens ban. (and the non-tests)
