Actually the query about Morris is not necessarily just doom mongering but a sensible thought. If he came to England because he couldn't get a game back in Ireland then if he has international aspirations (which he should have given his talent) then they'd be better served in Dublin if he can get game time: after all it worked for Jennings and Cullen.

The bit about Manu was, of course, just a bit of red-rag waving.

Of course this is my own opinion and other posters may have a different perceived factual viewpoint.

My contacts in Dublin tell me that Matt spent some time away in the Leinster camp prior to being offered the job, wonder if that disrupted us in the run in? All eyes on the job now though and I trust he is aiming to got out with a bang.

Luckily, we have "G Murphy" to have a word with the squad, to put them on the right track.

I don't think Mauger was ever fully fit during his time with us and as a player wasn't a great signing for that reason. However he clearly had an understanding of he game and that should stand him in good stead as a coach be that with us or elsewhere, however I doubt he's got much coaching experience given that he left us to try and get back into the All Blacks side for the 2011 world cup as a player.

It's all gone a bit quiet on the Darryl Gibson front - there were rumors that he had talks with us when he was over here with the Mouri side.

Aaron Mauger is , I believe the current coach at the Canterbury Crusaders(that's Canterbury NZ in case anyone from Oxford is reading this.... :smt004 )I belive he took over the job from one Daryl Gibson.
