How do you know? Moody left because he turned down a sensible offer from Tigers taking into account his age/condition for a more lucrative deal elsewhere, and good luck to that legend. And in hindsight well done Tigers for not having to hemorrhage an already tight budget.
As for Chuter the hooter, Fordy and Castro, I have to admire the stance taken by Tigers (it is not just the coach who makes these decisions!) to not let a sigle player no matter how good they are, dictate their contract and therefore become bigger than the club.
Lewis Moody wanted a big contract that reflected the fact he was the England captain. Tigers were struggling with the cap and didn't want to pay top dollar to a 30 something who had a poor injury record and England committments. Bath did want to pay top dollar and got very little return on their investment.

One step forwards...............or not?
Must be very frustrating for all this side of the channel, I wonder if Toulon are playing mind games before the quarter finals.
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.
In the article in the Merc today Simon Cohen has said they've identified Castro's replacement if he goes - wonder who that is? We also seem to have done most of our business fairly early in the year. I wonder if Castro stays whether that will be that and all of the ins and outs have either been confirmed or are known about (in the case of Ford)?
Are there any current Rugby League players that you think will hack it in Union? I've always thought that Ryan Hall at Leeds looked a very good finisher and looks reasonably good in attack and defence.

Good question! what worries me is if he is any good why would he be prepared to wait around for a deal that may never happen?
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity
