I've just been looking at the Premiership fixture list and all of Sale's home games except the final game of the season are on a Friday night. Do they have some special thing going with Sky to help then with their finances?

No. It's just the day they have picked to play their home games, they have done so for years.

It's my understanding that the Sky money gets evenly distributed regardless of how many games get televised, and the contract is negotiated centrally by Premiership Rugby.

Really? Its more to do with getting more fans through the gates due to their location. Seems a sensible idea to me.

It hasn't increased their attendances whatsoever and they have been doing it for years. It is time it was stopped.
