Players leaving

Post by Broadstaff »

Hope at Twickenham we get to see those players who will probaly not be in the squad, but who are finishing their time with Tigers. I know that people like Julian and and Alex have been highlighted, but there are others who I think have been great club members. Jeremy, James Gindall, Billy, George are but some. Players like Jeremy Staunton have hardly been mentioned in recent weeks, but over the years he has done a great job for us.

I'd echo all of that,I know Robinson didn't figure much, but he's another isn't he? they all made a good go of it,sadly not all made the match squad very often.

Robinson looked to be sitting with the other non-playing players, actually, which I thought was nice especially since he finished the season playing for Wasps.

Matchday programme highlighted Bucknall and Pienaar as leavers, too. Lots whom I will be sad to see go!

Seems Tom Armes will be leaving also:

Shame as he has looked a good player when used

If rumours regards Ben Woods are true, and Pienaar is indeed off then where does this leave us for 7s if Newbys injuries start to get on top of him next season?

Hi, I spoke with Ben Woods at the Saracens game and asked him about the rumour that he was moving back to the Falcoms. He denied it and said that he did not know where the rumour came from. So, looks like he will, thankfully, remain a Tiger next season.

Javiah Pohe 18 (Centre) - Tigers Academy

Gareth Delve 28 (No8) - Melbourne Rebels
Pohe has been in the academy for at least all of this season as well as possibly last season as well. Don't see how he's 'joining' the club now? He could be being promoted to the first team. Delve is off to Toulon, I think Tigers showed an interest whilst Waldrom was weighing up his options.

Javiah Pohe 18 (Centre) - Tigers Academy I understand is going to join the 1st team for next season from the Academy, not join the club (very funny)
Gareth Delve 28 (No8) - Melbourne Rebels I left in there as I had heard no further news on him.

As I said at the start of the post that these were the in's / Out's that I had information on which may stand to be corrected.
