If Tuilagi and Agulla are leaving at the end of the season then strengthening the back line has to be a priority, if the big Fijian is signed then that will hopefully conclude outside signings, in Lewington and Foysyth we have two excellent youngsters who are on the door step of the first team, both are young but with time could develop into future internationals.

Fantastic win on Friday!!

Breaking news.....
Following the announcement that Leicester Tigers are likely to replace the departing Alesana Tuilagi with Fijian winger Vereniki Goneva, Ryan Lamb has contacted his therapist and has booked another set of 20 sessions.
Today is yesterday's tomorrow.

Could be a seriously exciting player to watch - and has got some serious gas but it would be the nail in the coffin for Agulla who has shown nothing but commitment.

The Merc article confirms Agulla has not been made an offer.

Can anyone give any more detail about him? I know he played 7's for Fiji but noting else. I feel for Agulla, who has been a lot more threatening than he was last season. We are rumoured to ave signed the Worcs winger Benjamin so there is a beef of beef on both wings. I hope that Lewington and Forsyth dont get pushed away and down the pecking order due to this possible signing. Our youth players (with a sprinkle of age) did us proud at the rec on friday, and showed up Bath's almost first team.
There is never any points for 2nd place...

I felt Forsyth was fairly anonymous on Fri, while Lewington showed some promise. Although we won, don't forget it was rather more down to Bath's errors than Tigers' brilliance.

It is a shame that the club couldn't find a way to keep Agulla, but it's not easy to justify signing a player who will be missing for that much of the season.

Leicester have a great record of picking the right Pacific Islanders, so hopefully this one will be the same!

We've had 'Fijian wingers on the way' before who've never actually materialised! One hung around for a while but never got work permit, the other never arrived.

I feel that Scott's performances this season are but a mere shadow of his past superb form. :smt012
