Open Training Session at Welford Road

We attended Welford Road this morning to watch the training session & also a "game" towards the picking of the A team for Monday's final. It was a fascinating morning with everyone really interacting with the crowd & the players, as usual, were patience personified, particularly with the youngsters who were after autographs.
One or two worrying absentees & obvious restricted training, but a fab time

Yes indeed

We went along and watched for nearly 2 hours (much better than the one hour advertised).
It would have been nice to have had Matt and Cockers "open-miked" so that we could hear the drills etc - and I'm told his language was perfectly acceptable...

What was very interesting was the Q&A session in the Final Whistle which Gary hosted: 3 members of the backrooms squad were fascinating, talking about re-conditioning, physio, video analysis etc

Would make a super supporter's evening - esp if the video analyses were made available
