Tigers managing director David Clayton is hoping to finish the season in style with big gates for the two games after today, against Gloucester and London Irish. They, too, kick off on a Saturday afternoon.
He said: "We have a strong finish to the season in terms of big, attractive home fixtures with Saracens, Gloucester and London Irish, all coming here and all chasing hard for places in the semi-finals while, of course, we have our own ambitions too.
"All three of those fixtures are now confirmed for Saturday afternoons and we expect strong demand for tickets.
Seems like he thinks we're on for Saturday pm but doesn't say what time!
Sponsorship deals may come and go but the CRUMBIE stand will always remain.
Throughout the season Cockers has failed to develop new car parking opportunities in Leicester. After relying on older car parks of middling quality we will enter this critical stage of the season with untested back up car-parks. If we had given more opportunities to younger car-parking providers with more flair then we would be in a far better position.
"Leicester City Council's Safety Advisory Group have raised concerns in the past about fixture clashes.
Last season, the clubs did play at staggered times when the dates clashed, but this season there have been no same-day fixtures.
Group chairman Adrian Russell accepts there are extenuating circumstances this time.
He said: "The clubs have to play on the same day in this instance and we will have to manage the situation the best we can. We hope the time difference between kick-offs will be adequate." "
1. FA reverse and move all the champioship games back to Sunday;
2. Premiership (Rugby) move all games back to Sunday;
3. One of Tigers or City get dispensation to play at times differing from other teams;
4. SAG allow Leicester games on same day - IMHO unlikely due to precedent and parking chaos;
5. One of Tigers/City games played without spectators;
3,4, and 5 would likely result in massive legal/policing costs.
1, 2 mean huge loss of face for FA or PRL.
A little off the wall perhaps, but I can see one other type of solution:
Either ourselves or City (or both) could re-arrange the order of their remaining fixtures so that the last game is away - eg we swap the falcons and the exiles games - still two months away so surely possible logistically...
Could decide who does so by the toss of a coin or insist both teams do so.
Not my favoured option but surely better than some other possible plans.

This will be of little consolation to the Tigers fans who are unable to park their cars or to the City fans who having parked them are unable to extract them due to the parked cars of the Tigers fans.
IMHO there will be choas and SAG has abdicated its reponsibilities.
