Following the blinding 'the ball is still in' win over Exeter by London Irish's Wayne Barnes last week I thought the award this week would go to Nigel Owens.
Saints were more than a match for Newcastle and the decision made no real difference to the result, however the crossing/obstruction was a tricky one to call for the little welsh whistle sucker. It must have been really hard to see from all of 10 feet away when the dummy runner took out the centre to leave a gap so big you could drive budgie through it - quality reffing.
