Agree with you Scuba Steve, he looked impressive when he came on in both games. Can't leave him out on giving a penalty away, Castro & Ayerza would hardly ever play if that was the case.

Can you bring all your out of form and crocked players please as I think that might give us the chance of a sporting contest. Despite our much vaunted (by us) slow starts we need to gel - but we have a strange combo of youngsters, middlies and oldies. I am hoping for a ding-dong battle. I do think our scrum is now a bit better than the push over pop ups of the last few seasons and maybe yours is less the force than it was. Anyway, come on down and bring it on.

Hi pest, hard to say how this will go,early season and no real form from either team yet.Home advantage should help you,but on the back of a win and plenty to prove I expect a big game from our lads.I am sure the front row battle will have a big impact on the fortunes of the sides,we deny you any ball in the tight and we should get the ascendance.Quietly confident of a close victory for us,by less than seven points.
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.
Re: London Wasps v Leicester
It might not be as close as that. If the floodgates open for either of us it will be down to a bit of 'dog'. Not sure who has that yet this season.

We should as always target the win. And I think we can/should win.
But I would be happy with a LBP and an improved showing over the 80.
Though I think if we put in an improved showing we should have enough for the win anyways, unless Wasps improve too.

I missed this signing over the summer - where did we get Ed from?Scuba Steve wrote:I would like to see Ed Slater in the team, i've been quite impressed with him
Also what's happened with that Hooker we signed from Barf?
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Hawkins from Bath has a broken eye socket I think.

Stanko, Chuter, Castro,
Mafi, Skivington
Croft, Waldrum, Newby
Youngs, Staunton.
Robinson, 36, Smith, Augulla
Hamilton.
Reps: Ayerza, Duffey, Cole, Slater, Woods, Grindal, Murphy, Tulliagi M.
This side will not be selected but it would be my choice, this presumes Allen is unfit (I'd have dropped Hipkiss anyway) The prop choice is down to a mix of one ball player, 1 Scrumager in Starting XV & off bench.

To win is not as important as playing with style!

Re: London Wasps v Leicester
Assuming Allen and Hipkiss are injured I think this is about as strong a team as we could field. I know some are calling for Smurf to be dropped. This would be crazy! Firstly, he is a quality player and a couple of mediocre games does not change that. Secondly, if we have some less experienced players in the midlfield then we need someone with Geordan's experience in the mix.TTRITH wrote:I'd go with the following
