Parling Injury

Post by tonyw »

Lets hope Parlings neck injury gets better sooner rather then later, with Kay retiring it may leave us short in that dept.

I hope he gets better as well, but we have:

Deacon
Skivington
Green

and at a pinch:
Croft
Crane

So we should be o.k. anyway.

November was projected as a possible return for Blaze, but that was quite a while ago. So Christmas may well be there or thereabouts.

With none of Skivington, Deacon or Green on the England radar we should be ok....apart from injury.....I think we may see Crane in the 2nd row if things get tight.

Blaze needs to be 100% + fit as he and the club need to be sure his body can stand the strain.

I personally would not be surprised if we do not see Blaze or Parling until Late Jan or Feb.

I would think the press might have run a story on it if it was THAT bad.

KEEP THE FAITH!

The Parling injury was reported as minor when in Australia, and nothing has subsequently been reported.

I'm not concerned until such time as I hear anything more substantive.

I can't find the article, but hasn't Cockers said that only one player would be unavailable for the start of season - i.e Blaze?
