Bad news for one German supporter, though who has gone home with a case of tinnitus.

I think you're all being a little unfair, quite possibly because you haven't heard the more melodic side of the vuvuzela. Check this out and scroll to about 4.50 into the progamme, or listen to the whole thing if you've got time.

Be sure to turn the sound up to get the full subtlety of the rendition. :smt023

Mercifully, the vuvugayboys were drowned out by the patriotic singing of the England fans today.

All they need to do now is get rid of that effing brass band. Bunch of tarts.

There's a lot of talk on the saffas board about using them, in particular to annoy Northampton. Opinion is divided though. I think Quins have already made a move to ban them but I'm not certain.

Naa.

Just the usual embarrassing national anthems and several England players who refuse to sing their allegiance to the Queen.

Personally I'd like the non-singers (such as Rooney) to be put into a locked room with Stuart Pearce in order to receive some "Englishness" lessons. I'd pay to watch that.

Probably get a very large audience.
