If I had some spare cash I would back the Australians to win the next world cup! As for South Africa, I have to agree that the South Africans are really good at cricket, I mean Kevin Pietersen, Jonathan Trott, Andrew Strauss just at the moment and a few years back Allan Lamb, Tony Greig, Basil D'Oliveira etc. they were not bad were they. But I can't recall any particular tennis champions or swimmers that really set the world on fire. Aussies reached last 16 in the last soccer world cup losing to Italy (winners) 1-0. And I think they are the tops at rugby league. The Aussies are not too bad in the cricket's 1-day games at the moment, now they have Brett Lee back.
