Michalak could turn his back on Super 14

Post by big john »

A class player maybe a little Mavrick at times but still class and he players 9,10,12,15 kicks well from hand and a good place kicker maybe a good bet for tigers also only 25!!

He has said he would move to England

Whats you views on this one peeps??

Michelak is another mercurial flyhalf. Either a game maker or a match breaker, there's not a great deal of middle ground with Freddie.
Personally I'm a big fan, but there's always a small risk factor involved with Michelak, just as with JMH or even Goodey if we're being honest.
No doubt he'd be a fantastic addition to the squad, but I can't see him choosing England over going back to France - especially as his motivation for returning is to reclaim the French 10 jersey.

I don't understand the line "turning his back on Super 14...". Was he linked with a move to the Southern Hemisphere?

It seems France won't pick him if he is playing in S Hemisphere or so he thinks
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

He's been playing for Natal Sharks in Durban, South Africa. I think the article above is a bad translation - it should maybe read "turn back on top 14" as Sky sports have recently said he wants to look at the GP. He was always going to move back being the insinuation i believe.
