Radrigo Capo Ortega

Post by simon redshaw »

Anyone know much about him? Under the article on the Argentinian Coach being looked as a possible DOR by Tigers, it says that Tigers are talking to Radrigo Capo Ortega. Plays for Castres and is the Uruguay skipper, and plays in the back row.

Anyone know any more?

One thing, with all these South Americans at and potentially at Tigers (Castro could be included in that), they could at the least start their own South American or Spanish or Italian film club amongst a few other things?

Should Tigers include LLama, Guinea Pig or other South American delicacies on their menus?

From what I've read thus far he's an openside. Replacement for Jennings?

Maybe. Can he play at the same time as Gibbo, if Gibbo continues to play next season?

I'm not sure if the "2 forgien players" rule is being held up during the WC.

Are Uruguay in the World Cup?

Wouldn't he be unavailable for a large chunk of the season, if so. That would be my main concern.

I've tried looking into that but I think they're still going through the qualification process. They've got a game vs Portugal soon.

It would appear that Castres think of him as a second row...

That is a BIG openside, then....

Anyone speak French?

"Do you do anything outside rugby?"

"No, I don't have time".

An acolyte of the Neil Back way, then.

Looks more like a Tuilagi-esque No. 8 to me. Which is not a bad thing. :D
