A possible Tigers song ( anyone- has this got legs?)

Post by Crumby »

Based on Irelands call (a tune we should all know)

(Corus)
Tigers, Tigers
Together standing tall
Shoulder to shoulder
we'll answer tigers call

Come the day and come the hour
Come the power and the glory
We have come to answer the Tigers call
And shout them on to victory

(Corus)
Tigers, Tigers
Together standing tall
Shoulder to shoulder
we'll answer Tigers call

Hearts of steel
And heads unbowing
Vowing never to be broken
We will sing and cheer until we can no more
And shout them on to victory

(Corus)
Tigers, Tigers
Together standing tall
Shoulder to shoulder
we'll answer tigers call

Answers on a postcards please ....

Can we just stop this now?

If you want to have a singalong either join a choir or go to karaoke!

Or you can join me for a sing song in the 'Drogs' bar after most Tigers home games. Or if you want to sing along to 'Irelands Call', or anyone of Irelands/Munsters other songs, why not join me in the 'Bakers Arms' over the course of the 6N's. I'll be giving singing lesson's for the cost of a donation to the M.H.T

Has this got legs?

No it hasn't......just like every other 'Tigers' song ever touted on this site.

If a song ever gets adopted by more that a dozen people at Welford Road I will eat my own underpants.

This old chestnut again

Until the club get someone on the pitch, (as at Munster) with a big personality and that can sing and lead the crumbie terrace 1st into singing, this subject ought to be just forgotten.
This subject is getting boring as nothing ever happens and people can't be forced to sing and will only join in if they like the song.

We had around 100 Tigers fans singing out 'Are you watching Stuart Barnes' song in Limerick which after the Crumbie rendition at London Irish - must be the closest I have heard yet to a Tiger's song!
At least it is a whole one line.

I am Governor Neily Back
My aura smiles
And never cracks
Soon I will be president...

Howard Power will soon go away
I will be Fuhrer one day
I will command all of you
Your kids will meditate in school
Your kids will meditate in school!

[Chorus:]
Leicester Tigers Uber Alles
Leicester Tigers Uber Alles
Uber Alles Leicester Tigers
Uber Alles Leicester Tigers

Well, I'd sing it.

No song will ever work unless the Club takes responsibility for leading it.

The Welford Road crowd will never compare to a football crowd until it has a few songs to sing.

The simple and boring clapping rhythm, rarely repeated more than three times, is fairly insignificant.
